  • Kailyn Cogan

    is the proud owner and director of Kailyn’s Dance Vault, where she brings her passion for teaching, choreography, and student development to life. A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a minor in Dance, Kailyn has dedicated her career to creating a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.

    With over four years of experience as a competitive dance studio director, Kailyn has taught and choreographed in a wide range of styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, Acro, Pom, Contemporary, and Lyrical. She also specializes in technique, conditioning, and performance training, preparing dancers to succeed both on stage and in their ongoing dance education. Her choreography has consistently earned high praise and numerous awards at regional and national dance competitions.

    Kailyn’s teaching philosophy is rooted in empowering students with confidence, discipline, and creativity. Her goal is to help every dancer she works with reach their full potential in a positive and challenging environment. She was also selected to represent Bridgewater State University at the ACDA West Conference in San Jose, California, and is a proud alumna and former Executive Board member of the BSU Dance Company.

    At Kailyn’s Dance Vault, she is committed to cultivating a studio that feels like home—a place where dancers of all ages can train hard, dream big, and shine bright.

  • Nicole Shorey

    began dancing at the age of five and received her training at New England Dance Academy. Nicole attended numerous training programs such as "Breaking Barriers" with Anthony Burrell who is famously known for choreographing for Beyonce.  She also attended a Fall Workshop at Pace University to continue her professional training. Nicole continued her passion of dance and moved to Los Angeles to begin her career in professional dancing. While in LA Nicole danced in music videos, TV shows, and did live performances as a professional back up dancer. Nicole is currently dancing for the WNBA down at Mohegan Sun for the Connecticut Sun! Nicole had the opportunity to work with artists such as Connor Street and Nijawwon Matthews. Nicole continues her professional dancing career but as also found a love for dance education. Nicole teaches at several studios in New England. Nicole is always excited to share what she is learning with her students! She is happy to train her students in the multiple styles of dance that she teaches. 

  • Jamie Rathbun 

    is a dynamic and versatile dance educator with a strong foundation in all major styles—including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary—but tap holds a special place in her heart. With over 20 years of training and teaching experience, Jamie is known for her rhythmic precision, creative choreography, and dedication to inspiring dancers of all ages.

    A passionate teacher and performer, Jamie brings energy, professionalism, and a deep love for the art of dance into every class. Whether leading a tap intensive, guiding beginners through their first pliés, or choreographing competition routines, she emphasizes strong technique, musicality, and personal expression.

    Jamie has trained under renowned instructors in Boston and Tampa and continues to evolve both as a dancer and educator. She believes in nurturing well-rounded dancers and aims to create a positive, empowering environment where students can thrive, grow, and discover their own unique style.
