Kailyn Cogan
Owner/ Director, Main Choreographer
is the proud owner and director of Kailyn’s Dance Vault, where she brings her passion for teaching, choreography, and student development to life. A graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science and a minor in Dance, Kailyn has dedicated her career to creating a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.
With over four years of experience as a competitive dance studio director, Kailyn has taught and choreographed in a wide range of styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, Acrobatics, Pom, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Lyrical. She also specializes in technique, conditioning, and performance training, preparing dancers to succeed both on stage and in their ongoing dance education. Her choreography has consistently earned high praise and numerous awards at regional and national dance competitions.
Kailyn’s teaching philosophy is rooted in empowering students with confidence, discipline, and creativity. Her goal is to help every dancer she works with reach their full potential in a positive and challenging environment. She was also selected to represent Bridgewater State University at the ACDA West Conference in San Jose, California, and is a proud alumna and former Executive Board member of the BSU Dance Company.
At Kailyn’s Dance Vault, she is committed to cultivating a studio that feels like home—a place where dancers of all ages can train hard, dream big, and shine bright.

Jamie Rathbun
Teacher/ Choreographer
is a dynamic and versatile dance educator with a strong foundation in all major styles—including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary—but tap holds a special place in her heart. With over 20 years of training and teaching experience, Jamie is known for her rhythmic precision, creative choreography, and dedication to inspiring dancers of all ages.
A passionate teacher and performer, Jamie brings energy, professionalism, and a deep love for the art of dance into every class. Whether leading a tap intensive, guiding beginners through their first pliés, or choreographing competition routines, she emphasizes strong technique, musicality, and personal expression.
Jamie has trained under renowned instructors in Boston and Tampa and continues to evolve both as a dancer and educator. She believes in nurturing well-rounded dancers and aims to create a positive, empowering environment where students can thrive, grow, and discover their own unique style.

Lexy Rayhill
Teacher/ Choreographer
a lifelong dancer, choreographer, and experienced Acro instructor with a passion for helping dancers grow in both confidence and technique. With years of training across multiple styles and extensive experience teaching acro, she loves creating a positive and challenging environment where dancers can build strength, flexibility, and artistry.
Outside of the studio, Lexy is a pageant coach, small business owner, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, and is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing. She is also a former Miss New England Petite and Miss Rhode Island Earth, with a strong background in leadership, performance, and personal development.
Her diverse experience in dance, wellness, business, and pageantry allows her to bring a unique perspective into her teaching, blending strong technical foundations with creativity, discipline, and performance quality. Lexy is passionate about choreography, athlete development, and inspiring the next generation of dancers to reach their fullest potential.

Tessa Izzo
Teacher/ Choreographer
is a driven dancer with a strong foundation in competitive and collegiate dance. She developed her passion for performance and collaboration through years of competitive training at APAC Dance RI. Her experience continued at Providence College, where she was a four-year member of the Providence College Dance Team and competed at NDA Nationals. While at PC, Tessa had the honor of dancing at the AMP as well as traveling to perform at Mohegan Sun and Madison Square Garden. She also served as a Captain during her senior year, leading her teammates both on and off the floor.
A recent graduate of Providence College in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing, Tessa brings strong guidance, communication, and mentoring skills to the studio. She is committed to helping dancers build confidence, refine their technique, and grow as performers.
Drawing from her collegiate dance background, Tessa strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential. She values strong relationships, hard work, and confidence as key elements of success both inside and outside the studio.
Beyond dance, she works in corporate finance, where she continues to apply the discipline, leadership, and professionalism gained through her education and performance background.
